Method
Even if
your doing it just to get in
shape, Frank Says to get the
best possible workout, you need
to have a reasonable amount of
form.
If you’ve been trained by a
boxing instructor, or watched
one, you most likely saw him
teach by demonstrating the move,
and then expect his student to
mimic it. The instructor will
use that method for the
footwork, various punches and
defensive moves. He will
demonstrate again and again to
try to get you to do it the way
he does. Finally he loses
patience and tells you that your
doing great, but you realize
that your not, and you end your
workout dissatisfied. This is
the scenario for about seventy
five percent of the boxing
instructors out there.
Frank
Doesn’t just show you how to do
it, he breaks a single move down
to its rawest form, and, and
then helps you to coordinate
that part of the move.
If your still having trouble,
Frank can trick you into doing
it right by having you do
something
that
you do on a daily basis, and
then he has you incorporate that
everyday activity into the move
that your having trouble with.
Franks methods go on and on, if
one method doesn’t work for you,
he will have an other one that
will.
Frank says that teaching boxing
is like putting together a
puzzle of the United States,
first you start with the west
coast, and then before doing the
mid states you work on the east
coast. While doing the mid
states, some of the east coast
might get scrambled, so you have
to go back and forth touching
things up as you go.
